Community Projects
Using creative arts to engage communities in a variety of projects which enable them to express their ideas about their lives, their environment and their community. Kaos-arts offers outreach projects for different agencies in the West Midlands. Projects may include and combine consultations, events, workshops the creation of reports, artworks and features.

Aston Hall
'Welcome' to Aston Hall
Aston Hall commissioned three fabulous arts projects . The main welcoming feature to the new look Aston Hall is a magnificent mosaic based on iconic images and faces from Birmingham. Over 240 pupils from Broadway school helped design and create the work which measures over 3metres. It is already proving a big hit with visitors and staff.

Swanswell Park Initiative, Coventry City Council
Kaos-arts offers signage, banners , internal and external printed images which help improve places! Sensational bespoke signage for entrances, parks and play areas- anywhere which needs bright and innovative signage and way finding and the ‘wow’ factor! Kaos-arts helps people design images which are informative and innovative and translates them into graphic works ready for printing on a variety of durable substrates.

Blooming Seats, Hillfields in Coventry, for Warwickshire
Wild Life trust
A fabulous public art & consultation project for Hillfields, Coventry which resulted in over 250 local residents taking part in a series of workshops, designs and consultations. The result was the installation of 23 beautiful metal seats based on locals favourite flowers.

Drugs Awareness, The DAT, NHS
This project was developed to use creative arts to help raise awareness about the effects of drugs misuse. Participants from three key Centres in Birmingham took part in the projects and created a series of personal artworks and informed the design of an educational game. An event installation also enabled local agencies and communities to learn more about this contemporary issue.

Richmond Community Garden with Centre of the Earth
& Groundwork
Working with children from two primary schools and young people from the University of the thirds age to help improve the local community garden.
15 hand made paving stones based on animal tracks and a beautiful large mosaic floor were designed and created with the young people and installed as part of the garden regeneration. |
